Enquiry ordered against medical officer DH Bandipora for remaining absent from duties to attend private clinic

Bandipora: Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora has ordered inquiry against a medical officer of district hospital Bandipora for remaining absent in order to attend his private clinic on Friday.

In an order, a copy of which lies with news agency KNO ADC Bandipora, Zahoor Ahmad Mir has constituted a 3 member team headed by additional district development commissioner Bandipora, Afsar Ali Khan.

According to the order the team shall also comprise of Mehraj Wani, (KAS), Functional Manager DIC and block medical officer Bandipora, Dr. Masarat lqbal Wani.

The order states, “Complaint was received today on 06.11.2020 that Dr. Inam, Medical officer DH Bandipora was absent from duties. It was also reported that he was working in a private clinic on 06.11.2020 and patients visiting District hospital were asked to attend private clinic/Nursing home/Hospital.”

As per the order the 3 member team has been asked to enquire into the conduct of medical officer and furnish enquiry report with recommendation for further necessary action.

When contacted, additional deputy commissioner Bandipora, Zahoor Ahmad Mir confirmed that an enquiry has been ordered and the team shall submit its report within a week. (KNO)
