Burglars loot Shrine, Jamia Masjid at Ganderbal villages, decamped with cash

Ganderbal: Burglars during the intervening night of Thursday-Friday looted a Shrine and a Jamia Masjid at two villages in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

Burglars strike a Shrine of Ziyarat-e-Sheikh Jamal Sahib at Sehpora and Jamia Masjid at Mominabad areas in Ganderbal. They broke iron box of both Shrine and Jamia Masjid and decamped with cash.

Meanwhile, local residents expressed shock and termed the incident as unfortunate. They appealed police to take strong action against the culprits, reported Kashmir Despatch.

Meanwhile, police has registered a case in this regard.
