Train Service, Amarnath Yatra Resumed In Kashmir Valley After Two Days
Srinagar: Train services in Kashmir valley was resumed today on (Tuesday) 7th August 2018 after remaining suspended for two days due to security reasons.
The train service was suspended on 5th & 6th August due to strike call given by JRL against the hearing of Article 35A in Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, Amarnath yatra also resumed today after remaining suspended for two days.
A small batch of 454 pilgrims left Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas in Jammu. The batch includes pilgrims going to both Baltal and Pahalgam base camps.
Amarnath yatra remained suspended for two days due to strike call given by JRL against hearing of Article 35A.
Over 2.70 lakh people have performed Amarnath yatra this year since it started on June 28.
