Militant hideout busted in Yarwan Shopian, arms ammunition recovered

Srinagar: Government forces on Thursday busted a militant hideout in Yarwan village in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.

Sources said that joint team of Army’s 62 RR and J&K Police launched a search operation in Yarwan village and busted a militant hideout in which arms and ammunition were recovered.

A police officer confirmed the incident and said arms and ammunition, eatables utensils were recovered from the hideout.

A case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been taken up, he said
