Missing youth’s body found after 13 days in Rajouri

Rajouri, March 20: Body of a 22-year-old youth who was missing since last two weeks found in Kalakote area of Rajouri district on Friday.

Reports reaching GNS said that some locals informed the police about the body lying at Barwai Kalakote. “In the meantime, a police team reached the spot and recovered the body from the site”.

Station House Officer (SHO) Dharamsal, Amit Singh confirmed the incident to GNS.

The officer identified the deceased as Tufail Ahmad (22) son of Gulabdin, a resident of Bainambal, Chakli.

“The body has been taken to a nearby hospital for conducting all necessary medico legal formalities,” he said.

The officer said that a case under section 174 CrPc has been registered and further investigations taken up.

According to the officer, the youth was missing since last 13 days.
