2 women, sweeper suffer burn injuries in Kokernag school

Srinagar, Mar 09: Two women and a sweeper were injured in a fire mishap in a school at Batpora, Larnoo area of Kokernag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday.

Reports reaching GNS said that the two women who are working as Contingent Paid Workers (CPW) and a sweeper at government Primary School received minor burn injuries after the kitchen caught fire.

The incident occurred when the women duo was cooking mid-day meals for students, they said.

The injured persons were immediately hospitalized and are said to be out of danger, they added. (GNS)
