DSEK revises school timings across Kashmir from April 1

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) on Monday issued an order revising school timings for both Government and recognized private schools across the Kashmir Division, effective from April 1, 2026.

According to the order, schools falling within the limits of Srinagar Municipal Corporation will now function from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, while schools located outside the municipal limits of Srinagar district and in other areas of Kashmir Province will operate from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.

The order emphasizes that all concerned institutions must adhere strictly to the revised schedule without any deviation. — (KIMS)
