Mega Travel Mart to Boost Valley Tourism: JKHC Chairman Hails CM Omar Abdullah’s Initiative

Srinagar Mar 20 : Mushtaq Chaya, Chairman of Jammu & Kashmir Hoteliers club (JKHC) has highly appreciated and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble Chief Minister,jinab i Omer Abdullah, Chief Minister, and Depatment of tourism and Director Tourism Kashmir, Janab Syed Qamar Sajjad, for their initiative to host a Mega Travel Mart in the Union Territory.

The Hon’ble Chief Minister Omer Abdullah announced that the two-day Mega Travel Mart will be held on April 14 and 15. The event is expected to bring together approximately 250 stakeholders from more than 20 states across the country, making it a significant milestone for the tourism sector.

Mushtaq Ahmed Chaya termed the event as an amazing and much-anticipated initiative, stating that it has been eagerly awaited by the tourism fraternity. He emphasized that organizing such a large-scale event at this crucial time can prove to be a game changer for Jammu & Kashmir’s tourism industry.

Tariq Ghani sectery General JKHC added that the Travel Mart will not only enhance the visibility of the region but also create new business opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and significantly contribute to the revival and growth of tourism in Jammu & Kashmir.

Chaya said that the collective efforts of the government and tourism stakeholders will help position Jammu & Kashmir as a leading destination for travelers from across the country and beyond.
