Pulwama Police Apprehend Drug Peddler; Contraband Substances Recovered, FIR Registered

Pulwama, Feb 11: In its continued drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Pulwama Police apprehended one individual and recovered contraband substances from his possession. A police party of Police Station Rajpora, during routine patrolling duty at Hanjan Balla, apprehended one Javid Ahmad Dar, S/o Gh. Mohd Dar, R/o Rajpora, and recovered contraband substances from his possession including Petril (03½ strips), Anxit (01 strip), Tramadol (24½ strips), Pregabalin (06½ strips) and Rexcof (04 bottles).

In this regard, a case FIR No. 10/2026 under Sections 8/22 of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Rajpora and investigation has been taken up.

Pulwama Police remains committed to taking strict action against individuals involved in drug peddling and appeals to the public to cooperate in eradicating the menace of drugs from society.
