Pulwama Police Brings Long-Absconding Accused to Justice

Pulwama, Dec 29: Pulwama Police has successfully apprehended a long-absconding accused namely Gh. Mohammad Sheikh, S/o Ab. Aziz Sheikh, R/o Golpora, Panthachowk, who was wanted in FIR No. 178/2019 under Section 366 IPC.

The accused had been evading arrest since 2019, and a warrant under Section 299 CrPC had been issued against him by the Hon’ble Court of Law.

Acting on specific and credible information, a dedicated police team of Pulwama Police traced the whereabouts of the accused and apprehended him by following all due legal procedures. He was subsequently produced before the Hon’ble Court of competent authority for judicial determination.
