Pulwama Police Strengthen Ties with Retired Officers at DPL Pulwama

Pulwama, Dec 18: Pulwama Police on Wednesday held an interaction meeting with PROANG (Police Retired Officers Association Non-Gazetted) at the Recreation Hall of District Police Lines (DPL) Pulwama.

The meeting was chaired by DySP DAR Pulwama, Syed Mohd. Shafi, and was attended by the Chairman of the J&K Retired Police Association and the Secretary of the Central Body (South), among others.

The interaction focused on reviewing welfare measures and addressing issues faced by retired police personnel. Various welfare-related and service matters were discussed in a cordial atmosphere. The chairing officer welcomed the participants and assured them that Pulwama Police remains committed to the welfare of retired personnel, emphasising that they continue to be an integral part of the police family.

Representatives of PROANG raised several pending issues and offered valuable suggestions, which were patiently heard. It was assured that all genuine grievances would be taken up at the appropriate level for redressal. The dedication, sacrifices and long years of service rendered by retired police officers were also acknowledged.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with an assurance that such interactions will continue in the future to strengthen engagement and ensure the welfare of retired police personnel.
