Special Lok Adalat for Criminal Compoundable Cases organised at Pulwama

Pulwama, Nov 22: A Special Lok Adalat for criminal compoundable cases was today organised at the District Court and other subordinate courts of Pulwama under the chairmanship of Malik Shabir Ahmad, Chairman District Legal Services Authority (Principal District & Sessions Judge) Pulwama, and under the supervision of Mudasar Farooq, Secretary DLSA Pulwama.

With the coordinated efforts of presiding officers of all courts and the cooperation of learned advocates, a total of 108 cases were taken up by two benches across the district. Of these, 73 cases were amicably settled.

A settlement amount of ₹3,08,000 (Rupees Three Lakh Eight Thousand Only) was awarded in the Lok Adalat.
