ADGP CID Nitish Kumar, SSP CIK Tahir Ashraf Bhati Visit Family of Inspector Shah Asrar-ul-Haq in Kupwara

Kupwara, Nov 17: Senior Jammu and Kashmir Police officers on Monday visited Muqam-e-Shahwali, Drugmulla, to meet the family of late Inspector Shah Asrar-ul-Haq, who was killed in the accidental explosion at Nowgam Police Station on Friday night.

 

 

 

 

ADGP CID Nitish Kumar and SSP CIK Tahir Ashraf Bhati reached the residence to offer condolences and express solidarity with the bereaved family. The officers interacted with the relatives, prayed for the departed officer, and assured them that the police department would provide all necessary support during this difficult time.

 

 

 

 

 

They remembered Inspector Asrar as a dedicated and capable officer, admired within the force for his professionalism and humane conduct. The officers emphasized that the department stands firmly with all families affected by the Nowgam incident and that comprehensive support measures are already in place.

Inspector Shah Asrar-ul-Haq was among the nine individuals who lost their lives in the powerful blast that occurred while seized explosives were being examined at Nowgam Police Station. Several other personnel sustained injuries in the incident.
