BREAKING | Jaish-e-Mohammed Under Scanner in Delhi Red Fort Blast Probe

New Delhi, Nov 11 (ANN NEWS): Investigators probing the Red Fort car blast are examining possible links to Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), officials confirmed on Tuesday.

Sources said the probe has found early indications suggesting that the module behind the explosion may have been influenced or guided by handlers associated with JeM.

The group, founded between 1999 and 2000 by Masood Azhar after his release in the IC-814 hostage swap, operates from Bahawalpur, Pakistan.

Jaish-e-Mohammed is one of the most active terror outfits targeting India, accused of carrying out several deadly attacks, including the 2001 Parliament attack and the 2019 Pulwama convoy strike.

Security agencies are coordinating with multiple intelligence units to trace cross-border communication and funding patterns. The Ministry of Home Affairs has directed the NIA to examine all terror link angles in the case.
