The Sharm El-Sheikh Declaration, signed in Egypt’s Red Sea resort city, reaffirms a strong commitment to achieving comprehensive and lasting peace in the Middle East, with special emphasis on restoring stability and hope in Gaza.

The document, signed during the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Conference, bears the signatures of U.S. President Donald Trump, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

“We welcome the establishment of a comprehensive and enduring peace in Gaza,” the declaration states, adding, “We believe in tolerance, respect, and equal opportunity for every individual, ensuring that this region becomes a place where all can dream of peace, security, and economic prosperity—regardless of race, religion, or ethnicity.”

The leaders reaffirmed their shared vision for “a Middle East defined by peace, security, and shared prosperity,” built on the principles of mutual respect and common destiny.

The declaration further notes:

“In this spirit, we welcome the progress made toward establishing comprehensive and lasting peace in Gaza, as well as the growing friendly relations between Israel and its regional neighbors based on mutual benefit. We are committed to preserving and advancing this historic opportunity, strengthening the foundations on which future generations can thrive in peace.”
