Army Launches Search Operation After Soldiers Go Missing in Kishtwar Range
Kishtwar, October 8:
On the intervening night of 6 and 7 October, an operational team of the Army deployed in the Kishtwar range faced severe snowstorm and whiteout conditions in the mountainous region of South Kashmir.
During the operation, two soldiers went out of communication, prompting immediate Search and Rescue (SAR) operations by the Army. However, rescue efforts have been hampered by adverse weather conditions prevailing in the area.

Army officials confirmed that intense search operations are underway to trace the missing personnel despite the challenging terrain and continuous snowfall.
