Kulgam Police Conduct Raids on Banned Jamaat Outfit and SIM Card Vendors across District

Kulgam, Oct 8: Kulgam Police on Wednesday conducted raids at multiple locations across the district, targeting elements associated with the banned Jamaat-e-Islami outfit and certain SIM card vendors, officials said.

In manzgam, a police team led by SHO manzgam carried out the raid under the close supervision of SDPO DH pora, following the directions of SSP Kulgam Shri Sahil Sarangal (IPS).

Officials said the operation aimed to curb unlawful activities and ensure strict compliance with laws pertaining to banned organizations and SIM card distribution practices to safeguard public security.

Police sources added that further investigation is underway, and necessary legal action will be taken based on the findings of the raids.
