We will adjust School Timings if needed: Sakeena Itoo
Speaking to reporters on the issue of school reopening, Itoo said that the decision on school timing is not final and can be changed based on public feedback.
“Many people are calling to ask about the new school timings,” she said. “This is not a final decision. If we feel there’s a need to change it, we can do that,” she added.
Itoo assured parents and students that their concerns will be addressed.
According to KNS, Itoo said the government’s main goal is to ensure that students complete their studies in the November session without further disruptions.
“Our aim is that children should study in the November session and complete their syllabus. That’s why we are trying to reduce unnecessary vacations and problems in the education system,” Itoo said.
Speaking on the academic schedule for the coming months, she said that Mid-July, August, and September will be focused on teaching whileas exams will be held in October,” she added.(KNS)
