Army recovers arms, narcotics in Kupwara

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Indian Army along with Jammu and Kashmir Police have recovered arms and narcotics during a search operation in Kupwara district of North Kashmir.

“The search operation was jointly launched by Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police in Amrohi area of Tangdhar in Kupwara district on 17 December, 2024 (Tuesday) based on specific intelligence inputs,” Indian Army’s Srinagar based Chinar Corps said in a post on X.

“During search operation, four Pistols, six Pistol Magazines, approx four Kgs of narcotics and other war-like stores have been recovered,” the post said. — (KIMS)
