The Live Political Debate Starts Sunday At 6:30 Pm; Mega Tv Show To See Face-Off Between Kashmiri Political Leaders
Srinagar, July 27: The Big Live Political Debate — on ANN News — Kashmir’s first and only Tv News Channel — face-off between politicians and their opponents is expected to be not only one of the most-watched debates in history of Kashmir, but a major television event in its own right, starting Sunday 6:30pm.
The event will, of course, be a major presence on traditional Tv — but if you’re a cord-cutter, you’ll still have plenty of ways to tune in this time around.
The debate will kicks off at 6:30PM on July 28, 2019, Sunday, with an anchor of programme speaking live to panelists from Srinagar ANN News Studio, and will run for a 120 minutes along with commercial breaks. Audience will also ask questions to leaders on show. ANN News management started the event on pubic demand.
J&K’s oldest political party National Conference will be represented by youth wing president Salam Sagar.
Sagar is known for his humbleness and polite speaking. But in debates, he rarely spare opponent and grill them with facts and history. The dynamic former deputy mayor of Srinagar hammers opponents when he is given reason to be aggressive to counter political opponents.
It will be more interesting as how Awami National Conference Senior Vice President Muzaffar Shah who is pleading protection to special status of J&K, will counter BJP spokesperson Altaf Thakur in live Tv show as BJP believes “abrogation of Article 35A will pave for progress and development the state.”
Congress General Secretary Surrinder Singh Channi will represent party views.
Renowned Tv debator Inam-u-Nabi can prove “bombshell” for all political leaders. Inam is known for his tempo speech and speaking ‘spade to spade.’
The anchor of programme Mudasir Yaqoob is known for his Tv presentation, grilling the guest with most uncomfortable questions. While telling viewers in opening of programme as what the guest has done good to society, the anchor used to begin with toughest questions, saying: “Tareefain Baad Main, Shuruwaat Karte Hai Ilzamaat Ke Saath (Will admire later, let us begin with allegations against the guest.)

The channel can be watched live on its official mobile app ANN News, which can be downloaded from the Play Store. The channel also runs prim time transmission on various social networking sites including Facebook.
