Kulgam Gunfight Leaves 4 Injured, including senior police officer

Srinagar, Sept 28 (KNS): An ongoing encounter in Adigam village ofbKulgam district, South Kashmir, has left four security personnel injured including a senior police officer.

Three army soldiers and a police officer, ASP Kulgam, were injured in the initial exchange of fire with militants. All four have been hospitalized and are reported to be in stable condition.

The gunfight broke out when security forces launched an operation in Adigam area. The operation is currently underway.
