4.1 magnitude earthquake hits Baramulla
SRINAGAR (KIMS) — An earthquake of Magnitude 4.1 on the Richter Scale hits the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory on Friday.
However, there were no reports of any loss of life or damage to the property.
The earthquake, with its epicentre in Baramulla occurred at around 12:26 pm at a depth of 10 km, the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) said.
The earthquake hits at latitude 34.32 degrees and longitude 74.34 degrees, it said. — (KIMS)
