DC Pulwama reviews preparations for Supervisors Examination by JKSSB
PULWAMA, JUNE 21: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pulwama, Dr. Basharat Qayoom today chaired a comprehensive meeting with nodal officers, heads of institutions, and Centre Superintendents to review and finalize the arrangements for the upcoming OMR based examination for the post of Supervisor in the Social Welfare Department.
The examination is scheduled to be conducted by the J&K Services Selection Board on June 23, 2024.
For security and monitoring purposes, CCTV cameras have been installed at most centers. This is further augmented by deployment of videographers at each of the 19 centers and the strong room to ensure continuous surveillance.
In line with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), thorough frisking protocols will be implemented, and female workers will be present to assist at each center. Nodal officers and HOI informed DC that all logistical arrangements have been made, including dedicated teams for receipt and dispatch of examinations material.
The examination will take place in 19 examination centres across the district and with 7351 candidates expected to appear in the examination.
The representative from the J&K Services Selection Board was also present who briefed about SOPs and Guidelines and informed that necessary training has been imparted to Centre Superintendents and other staff.
The DC emphasized the utmost importance of maintaining the highest standards of integrity and efficiency throughout the process and directed officers to ensure fair and transparent conduct of examination.
The meeting was attended by key officials, including the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Additional Deputy Commissioners (ADCs) from Pulwama, Tral and Awantipora, Head of Institutions and Center Superintendents.
