Those who were part of BJP Govt have no right to call us ‘B team’: Gh Nabi Azad in Qazigund
‘When I spoke in favour of Article 370 in Parliament these parties were silent’
Qazigund, Mar 05 : Former Chief Minister of erstwhile state of J&K and Chairman of Democratic Progressive Azad Party on Tuesday said that those who were part of BJP government have no right to call his party a ‘B team’.
Talking to reporters after a party meet at lower Munda, Qazigund in Anantnag district, as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Azad said that those who accuse his party as B teams of BJP have been in alliance with BJP in the past.
“He said that they are A team as they have been in the government and became CM and I was neither minister or member of parliament or assembly of that very team so on what basis they call us B team,” he asked.
Azad said that such parties should check facts before accusing anyone else and they must go through the parliament records of those who spoke against the BJP there.
He said that he was the only person who spoke in favour of article 370 while these parties remained silent there as well while adding that revoking article 370 was a mistake of the central government.
Asked about the India Alliance, whether it has failed, he said they are doing their job and we are doing our job and people will decide who has failed or who is successful.
He said that India is facing threat on the border from both China and Pakistan—(KNO)
