LG Sinha Appoints Registrar, Other Positions In Kashmir University

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Mr. Manoj Sinha on Monday appointed registrar and various other positions in the University of Kashmir.

Sinha, who is also the Chancellor of the University appointed Dr. Naseer Iqbal as the Registrar of the University.

Besides Registrar, Sinha also appointed Dr. Fayaz Ahmad Loan as Librarian at Allama Iqbal Library, Dr. Sheikh Ghulam Mohammad as Director, North Campus and Dr. Mandeep Singh as Director Physical Education at the Varsity.

The Additional Secretary of the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat said, “These appointments were made on basis of recommendations of the selection committee for appointment of various positions in the University of Kashmir on tenure basis.”

“I am desired to convey the approval of Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Chancellor, University of Kashmir to the appointment of four vacancies against the respective positions in the University of Kashmir subject to the satisfactory vigilance clearance,” he said. — (KIMS)
