J&K Admin Constitutes Committee To Oversee Preparations Of G20 Summit In 2023
SRINAGAR — Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday constituted a 16-member committee to oversee preparations of G20 Summit in the Union Territory in 2023.
According to an order, Mr. Raj Kumar Goyal, IAS Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Home Department has been appointed as Chairman while as Mr. Dilbagh Singh, IPS Director General of Police, J&K and Mr. Rashmi Ranjan Swain, IPS Special Director General of Police, Criminal Investigation Department, J&K has been appointed as members of the committee.
The order reads that Mr. Shaleen Kabra, IAS Principal Secretary to the Government, Jal Shakti Department, Mr. Dheeraj Gupta, IAS Principal Secretary to the Government, Housing and Urban Development Department, Mr. Prashant Goyal, IAS Principal Secretary to the Government, Industries and Commerce Department, Mr. Shailendra Kumar, IAS Principal Secretary to the Government, Public Works (R&B) Department, Mr. H. Rajesh Prasad, IAS Principal Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department and Mr. Alok Kumar, IRS Principal Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department have also been appointed as members of the committee.
Mr. Shiv Darshan Singh Jamwal, IPS Additional Director General of Police (Security) and Mr. Sanjeev Verma, IAS Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment have also been appointed as members of the committee.
Mr. Pandurang Kondbarao Pole, IAS Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Mr. Sarmad Hafeez, IAS, Administrative Secretary, Tourism Department, Mr. Zubair Ahmad, JKAS Administrative Secretary, Culture Department, Mr. Athar Aamir Ul Shafi, IAS Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation and Mr. Bashir Ahmad Bhat, IRS Vice Chairman, J&K Lake Conservation and Management Authority have also been appointed as members of the committee reads the order issued by Dr. Piyush Singla IAS Secretary to the Government. — (KIMS)
