8 killed in clashes as protests continue; several PTI leaders arrested
Protests continued across Pakistan today over ex-PM Imran Khan’s dramatic arrest, killing at least eight people and injuring over 100 others, as per local media reports. Several leaders of Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party were arrested, including Fawad Chaudhry and Asad Umar.
Khan, who was arrested on Tuesday afternoon, was handed over to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) yesterday. He will be held in custody for eight days in the Al-Qadir Trust case
