7-day training for polling staff concludes at Kargi

KARGIL MARCH 07:- The seven day hands on training and demonstration for polling staff on EVM and VVPAT concluded here today.

During the training programme held under the   supervision of the District Election Officer (DEO),  Baseer-ul-Haq Choudhary, demonstration and training was imparted to the polling personnel comprising presiding officers and other  polling staff   at different dedicated training venues.

The Assembly Level Master Trainers (ALMTs) clarified various queries of participants regarding the use of the machines.

Meanwhile, as a part of the ongoing SVEEP activities in the district, a hands-on training-cum-awareness programme on the use of VVPATs and EVMs for young voters was also held. Around 200 young voters were given hands on training and demonstration on the use of EVMs and VVPATs.

The trainers urged the young voters to enlighten themselves with the use of VVPATs and EVMs functioning and share the information with other voters.
