60 Year Old Man Critically Injured In Bear Attack At Qazigund

Qazigund: A 60 year old man was injured critically after attacked by wild bear in Mondhole area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam District on Sunday Afternoon.

According to reports a 60 year old man identified as Ghulam Mohammad Itoo Son of Khazir Mohammad Itoo when he was in a way to his Orchard at Mondhole village in Qazigund.

However, before the villagers could do anything, the bear attacked and wounded the person. The wild animal later escaped back into the forest.

In the attack, Ghulam Mohammad suffered serious head injuries and was taken to District hospital Anantnag where from doctors referred him SKIMS Soura for advance treatment.

The wild bear is reported to have come down from the nearby forest to the residential area in search of food.
