4-year-old boy killed, 3 others injured in Poonch road accident

POONCH: A 4-year-old boy was killed and three other persons were injured in a road accident in Poonch district on Saturday.

A vehicle Xylo (JKO2AK-6609) skidded of the road and fell down into a gorge after driver lost control of the vehicle along Rajpura Balnai road in Mandi area of Poonch, resulting in injuries to four persons including a minor.

All the injured persons were shifted to Sub District hospital Mandi for treatment. However, the 4-year-old boy Abdul Rayees son of Shah Mohammad was declared brought dead.

The injured persons were identified as Ghulam Qader (35) son of Abdul Ahad, Imtiaz Ahmed (20) son of Mohammad Abdullah and Sulaman (10) son of Ghulam Qader, all residents of Azamabad Mohalla Irinar.

SHO Mandi Bashir Kohli while quoting to news agency GNS said that the body of the minor is handed over to the family for last rites adding, a case has been registered in this regard.
