4 Persons Hit With Bullets During Shopian Clashes

Shopian: 4 person’s received bullet injuries during clashes between government forces and youths at Sugan village in Shopian district of South Kashmir.

As per reports government forces opened fire on protesters at Sugan village who visited native village of Zeenat-ul-Islam to participate in the funeral of slain militants.

All the injured person’s were shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.

Sources also said that all roads leading to Sugan village were sealed by government forces to stop people from visiting native village of Zeenat-ul-Islam to participate in his funeral procession.

Clashes were going on in the area when this report was filed. (City FM JK)
