4 notorious drug peddlers arrested I Jammu, contraband also recovered

51 bottles of illicit liquor recovered by Police Post Beli Charana Jammu. One bootlegger arrested.

Jammu: In an act of alertness and prompt action, a strict action has been taken by dedicated police team of Police Post Beli Charana, Jammu and a massive recovery of 51 bottles during naka checking near sardar basti Beli Charana i.e 51 bottles of 180 ml of jk special whiskey of illicit liquor has been made and one person has been arrested.

Special police teams under the supervision of SDPO South Sachit Sharma were constituted. The team led by SHO PS Satwari Inspr. Sameer Jeelani assisted by
I/C PP Belicharana PSI Jeevan Kumar did strenuous efforts and police teams finally rounded up one accused person namely Satnam Singh S/O Sohan SIngh R/O Chatha Farm. During search, 51 bottles of illicit liquor were recovered from his possession.

In this regard cognizance has been taken by PP Belicharana and the accused got arrested.

Further investigation of the case is going on.
