31 Youths Injured During Clashes In Kulgam, Shopian Village

Kulgam/Shopian: Atleast 31 youths received injuries during clashes that broke out between government forces and youths at two separate villages in Kulgam and Shopian district of South Kashmir
The clashes broke out after government forces launched massive CASO (Cordon-and-Search-Operation) in Ghat, Khudwani and Dreed-Kalipora villages of South Kashmir’s Kulgam and Shopian district.
At Kulgam’s Ghat Khudwani village, 11 youths received pellet injuries, they were rushed to SDH, Qaimoh for treatment. Among them one youth referred to DH, Anantnag from where doctors referred him to Srinagar Hospital for advanced treatment.
In Shopian’s Dreed-Kalipora village, 20 youths received injuries. They were shifted to PHC, DK-Pora for treatment, among them some were referred to Srinagar, Hospital for advanced treatment.
As per reports, search operation was going on in Ghat Khudwani area of Kulgam district when this report was filed.
