30 shops, Residential flat gutted in a mysterious blaze in Kupwara

Kupwara, 04 Jan: At least 30 shops, a residential flat were gutted in a mysterious blaze in Dar Gali Main Bus Stand area of Kupwara Town during Thursday night.
Sources informed that the fire which broke out around 3:30 AM at Dar Gali Main Bus Stand Kupwara gutted at least 30 shops and a residential flat.
Soon after the incident, the authorities pressed fire-tenders into service to douse-off the flames.
According to our Correspondent Wasim Majnoon Mir, the property worth crores got damaged in the mysterious blaze and informed that the maximum of the shops and a residential flat were fully gutted in the blaze.
According to our correspondent, a residential flat was fully gutted in the blaze blonged Bilal Ahmad Dar.
Meanwhile, Police have registered a case and have started an investigation to ascertain the cause of fire.
Meanwhile, The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan today visited the Shopkeepers, families affected by the fire incident that took place on the intervening night of 4th Jan, at Kupwara Town.
The DC expressed heartfelt condolences and solidarity with the grieving Shopkeepers and family.
During the visit, DC assured affected shopkeepers and a family of all necessary assistance. She expressed gratitude to the community for the courage and cooperation and said that the District Administration stands with the shopkeepers affected by this tragic incident.
BJP senior leader and district president Javid Qureshi today visited the Shopkeepers, families affected by the fire incident and expressed heartfelt condolences and solidarity with the grieving Shopkeepers and family.
