2 Tral Youth Detained By Security Forces During Nocturnal Raids
Tral: Two youth were detained by the security forces during an overnight raid in south Kashmir’s Tral township.
A police official said that the forces on Wednesday night surrounded a cluster of houses in different villages of the town and detained two youth.
The detainees were identified as BSc final year student Showkat Ahmad Lone, 22 and a BSc nursing student Nadeem Ahmad Wagay 20. Both were lodged at police station Tral.
The youth, according to the official, are being quizzed for their alleged role in militancy. (GK)
