17-year-old boy commits suicide in Budgam village

Budgam: A 17-year-old boy ended his life by allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substances at his home in Drung village of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday.

An official told news agency KDC that the youth identified as Shabir Ahmad Pala, Son of Gulzar Ahmad Palla, a resident of Drung village consumed some poisonous substance at his home.

He was immediately rushed to PHC Khag, where from doctors referred him to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for further treatment. However, he was declared brought dead on arrival.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case under various sections of law and taken up further investigations in this regard. (KDC)
