10-Year-Old Boy Mauled To Death By Leopard In Budgam Village
Srinagar: A ten-year-old boy was mauled to death by a leopard in Soibugh, area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday evening.
An official told that a ten years old boy identified as Aehran Showkat Mir son of Showkat Ahmad Mir, a resident of Haran village of Soibugh in Budgam was taken by a leopard near his house at evening hours.
He said that after receiving the information police, wildlife teams swung into action and launched the massive searches to trace out the boy adding that the body was traced in a nearby area forest area later.
However, locals told that the leopards had been roaming in the area for many weeks and some of them were even captured. (KDC)
