Srinagar, Jan 20 : Ujala Cygnus Kashmir Super Specialty Hospital welcomed a distinguished delegation from Stewardship Asia Centre (SAC), Singapore. The visit, Hosted & facilitated by Founder Director of Ujala Cygnus healthcare ,Dr. Shuchin Bajaj and Managing Director Dr. Pervez Sofi, aimed to explore Ujala Cygnus’s exemplary model of delivering quality healthcare while demonstrating financial sustainability.As part of SAC’s research agenda, the delegation, comprising CEO of SAC, Mr Rajeev Peshawaria and Abigail Chan, sought to uncover inspiring stories of companies “doing well by doing good.” Through an immersive experience, the team engaged with patients, medical professionals, and hospital administrators to gain a deeper understanding of Ujala Cygnus’s impact on Kashmir’s healthcare landscape.The occasion also marked the launch of Ujala Cygnus’s yearly calendar, which was unveiled by international delegates.Ujala Cygnus Kashmir Super Specialty Hospital holds the distinction of being the first corporate hospital in Kashmir. The hospital was inaugurated by Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Sh. Manoj Sinha, on August 5, 2022. Notably, it is a fully NABH-accredited hospital, ensuring adherence to rigorous quality and safety standards.At the inauguration, Dr. Pervez Sofi, Managing Director, emphasized the hospital’s commitment to serving every patient with hassle-free, cashless treatment options. To achieve this, the hospital has empaneled various panels, including Ayushman Bharat, CGHS, ECHS, and ESIC, facilitating seamless access to quality healthcare for the people of Kashmir .
